Baby Glimåkra
Finally finished setting up the baby Glimåkra this morning. It's been languishing in pieces for months. I put a warp of Christmas towels on it nearly two years ago for a guild demonstration at our annual sale and have been on the move ever since. This is the third, or maybe 4th time I've set it up to weave off these pretty towels. I will finish the last two!

Day 2
Looking at the photo, I need to explore upload options more carefully!
This is a blanket woven in Swedish and American wool. The design inspiration comes via Becky's Vavstuga.

In Pine Meadow
Many years ago, I was about to purchase a B & B. In my excitement, I had it furnished, marketed and cash in the bank...all in plans. My large Swedish loom had a place of honor in the gathering room, and I'd named my enterprise Pine Meadow in honor of the 3 acres of meadow dotted with pines in the Rockies.
The deal fell through. But ever since I've been weaving In a Pine Meadow, looking out over the wildflowers toward the mountains, at least in my mind. Someday I will actually weave in a mountain studio.
Welcome to my blog.
